5 Mil Polyimide Masking Tape for PCB – PT205HD
Made of removable PT205HD 5 mil polyimide material, IDENTCO masks withstand direct contact with the fluxes, molten solder, and cleaning chemicals used in the printed circuit board manufacturing process. Withstanding temperatures up to 500 ̊F (260 ̊C), IDENTCO masks are designed to remove cleanly, leaving no adhesive residue.
About the Polyimide PCB Masking Tape
PT205HD is designed to be a high temperature resistant polyimide masking tape. Key features include: indoor only applications, protects circuit board surface, clean removable adhesive and excellent heat and chemical resistance. The material will meet the most demanding durable labeling and die-cutting requirements. The material is designed for use with auto-apply equipment.
- Face Stock: - 5.0 mil polyimide masking tape offers excellent resistance to heat and chemicals. Specfically designed to protect the surface it is placed on. Ideal for marking gold contacts and other sensitive areas on printed circuit boards.
- Adhesive - 1.5 mil heavy duty removable silicone adhesive offers resistance to heat and chemicals. It is designed to be cleanly removed from the surface that it is applied to after the manufacturing process.
- Liner - 2.0 mil clear polyester liner designed to offer excellent performance for automatic application.
