Plasma Heads for Electronics Assembly

Surfx offers five different types of argon plasma heads for electronics assembly to match customer’s R&D or in-line production needs. They are the minibeam source that generates a circular plasma beam 1 mm in diameter, and four linear sources that generate a plasma gas curtain 25, 50, 75 and 100 mm in width (1, 2, 3 and 4 inches wide). Substrates are scanned underneath the beam at a distance of 2 to 10 mm. The argon plasma heads are compact and lightweight, and easily integrate into robotic scanning systems or continuous manufacturing lines.
