About the Product Flow Controller PFC
The PFC is typically connected at an interface between the conveyor and machine. For example, between a solder paste inspection machine and a placement machine. It prevents a PCBA from advancing to the next step unless all requirements are met and validated, thus ensuring defect-free production at downstream processes. For WIP Tracking and traceability applications, the PFC integrates with conveyor-mounted PCB scanners to ensure the PCBA's unique serial number is captured at each required scan point, 100% of the time in order to ensure data integrity.
