The flexible INSIGNUM 6000 platform implements customer specific requirements in the laser marking field. This includes model variants for double track solutions, the processing of large-size PCBs and the marking of e.g. ceramics, plastics and DBC substrates. Module sizes smaller than 3mil can also be realized. Transport system and laser types are individually adapted to the process requirements.

In the basic version, the system is equipped with a 10 Watt CO2 laser and a transport system. On request, the system can also be equipped with fiber laser.

SIMPLEX is a unique Human Machine Interface for monitoring. Immediately it is clear: operators and their specific needs are the focus. Buttons are optimized for quick touch screen entry and for the conditions in a manufacturing environment and control of highly complex machines.

The 6000 Laser Series can do even more. In addition to solder resist marking, you can select individual solutions for marking DBC substrates, plastics, ceramics and a wide variety of metals.

We offer special material processing by laser in the POLYPHOS Laser Solutions product line. Materials such as FR4, polyimide, metals, ceramics, cSi solar cells, etc. can be processed with a variety of laser processes.

POSSIBLE VARIATIONS:

INSIGNUM 6000 3mil – Marking in the smallest of spaces - The miniaturization of the PCB with simultaneous high assembly density increases the requirement to apply codes in the smallest possible space. The INSIGNUM 6000 3mil laser marking system uses a CO2 laser to mark module sizes from 0.08mm. Code sizes smaller than 1mm are thus possible. The high positioning accuracy of 100µm@5Sigma supports precise marking on smallest areas.

INSIGNUM 6000 XL – Large formats up to 610mm - The INSIGNUM 6000 XL processes PCBs with a format of up to 610x610mm. Flexibility is increased by the installation of an integrated flip station and double-sided marking of large-format PCBs is possible. The integration of a scissor lift table supports the PCB and prevents bending. The optimal focus point is guaranteed.

INSIGNUM 6000 XXL – Large formats up to 1500mm - In the INSIGNUM 6000 XXL machine, e.g. antenna modules for 5G technology with board lengths up to 1000mm can be processed. 1500mm also possible upon request. Due to the integration of a flip station for board lengths up to 610mm, you have the possibility of double-sided marking. Weights up to 5kg can be transported without any problems and thanks to a travelling support, bending of the PCB is prevented. Thus, the system offers maximum flexibility for a wide range of PCB formats.

INSIGNUM 6000 Dual – Flexible double track solutions - With the INSIGNUM 6000 Dual, you have the option of manufacturing the same or different products in one process step. Idle times during product changeover are minimized. Single-track, double-track or double-track flexible can be individually adapted to your current production requirements within a maximum track distance of 686mm.
